Frenkie de Jongs move to FC Barcelona will be announced later this afternoon, sources around his family confirm to Ajax1.nl.
FC Barcelona have long battled with PSG for De Jong, but the Catalans made a final offer that PSG was not willing to match. It is believed FC Barcelona will pay around 90 million euros for De Jong, which would make him the most expensive Dutch player in history.
The official confirmation of the transfer is expected somewhat after 17.00 CET.
