According to the Courriere Dello Sport, Christian Eriksen wants to come back to Ajax. The Italian newspaper mentions that Eriksen has to leave his current club Internazionale. In Italy, Eriksen is not allowed to play. During Euro 2020, Eriksen was struck by a heart attack. This requires him to live with a defibrillator. However, the Serie A doesn’t allow players to play with a defibrillator. Therefore, it is unlikely that Eriksen will play another match for the Italian giants.
Nevertheless, this doesn’t have to mean Eriksen’s career is over. In the Netherlands, it is allowed to play with a defibrillator. Our own player Daley Blind is a prime example. Consequently, Inter is prepared to make a huge loss on Eriksen, if it means that he can play elsewhere. Eriksen himself is really keen to move to Ajax. The Danish player was a real crowd favorite, during his Ajax days between 2009 and 2013. A comeback of this phenomenal player would therefore be fantastic.
